COMMENTS: Current residents: approx. 400 Highway 18, 5 miles south of Fairfax, OK. 20 miles West of Hominy, OK. There are a few historical restorations here REMAINS: Quite a fes residence's and old buildings some dating to 1902

Not sure exactly when the town was founded but at its full swing back in the early 1900's it was bigger than Tulsa. It had at one time 8 - 10 banks and saloons into the high teens. There is a middle school, and post office and 1 convenience store that I know of at this time. I lived there growing up, till I was 25 then moved away. I'm sure it has died even more since then.
