BEST TIME TO VISIT: Spring, Summer, Fall.

COMMENTS: From Cottage Grove, up Row river to Sharpes Creek. Up Sharpes Creek to top of mountain. Road is steep and rough.
Four wheel drive recommended..
REMAINS: Two buildings, I believe. Being restored last time I was there, many years ago.

In Bohemia Mining District. Center of many turn of the century gold mines. there are only a couple of buildings standing, but are being restored. Many old gold mines in the area. These are hard rock mines with miles of tunnels in the mountains. Mine are all private property and dangerous. Cottage Grove celebrates Bohemia Mining Days.
