There are many ghosts in the town and homes. The most famous haunted place is Catfish Plantation established in 1880. It was built by a farmer and when his daughter elizabeth was strangled to death he sold the house. Since the late 1970's it has been a ghostly resteraunt. Known for it's famous ghosts Elizabeth, the farmers daughter, Will, a WW2 soldier, and Catherine a lady who lived in the house in the 60's. The town is still running and growing.
