CLIMATE: Arid Desert.
BEST TIME TO VISIT:

COMMENTS: Near Cannonville.
REMAINS: Small abandoned cabin and cemetery.

Georgetown was a small village of about 100 people; it, like nearby Cannonville, was named for a locally prominent LDS official. It had a store, school, and a post office; it became a ghost town in the late 1940s (I would have to do some more research). There is a small (abandoned) cabin nearby, the last building of Georgetown. (Cannonville is still alive.) Submitted by Kurt Wenner.
