UPDATE: 6/10/00 This all that is left, mainly, of Gold Hill. A few residents are still there, and this hollowed out mercantile store. The best way to get there is go South down I93 in Nevada from Wendover for about 30-45 minutes. There will be a small sign pointing to the left for Gold Hill. It is a dirt road and goes into the hillside for about 30-45 minutes. If you go the other way from Tooele, you need to take the west turn off from Faust along the pony express route to Simpson Springs and then from there over to Fish Springs. From Fish Springs go north to Gold Hill. To go to Wendover, follow the road next to the mercantile north to I93. - Robert Mair and Maida Murphy

Gold Hill, Utah. Another story from Nell Murbarger in Desert Magazine, February, 1953. Once again she finds a few remaining residents and tells the story of Gold Hill, Treasure Hills of the Utah Desert. Five great photos, a DM map. Page 14.
