ACTIVITY: Sunshine Canyon. The old mining town of Sunshine.
LOCATION: West of Lehi towards Mercer

COMENTS: Great place to go Hiking and exploring. Make sure that you have a good vehicle. Some rough roads along the way. Wear good clothing and shoes. Alot of crystal rocks and Mines to go look at. Just be careful there are claim markers all over the place. > There are also some old mines that go straight down into the ground, they are only covered by chicken wire and stakes so be very careful when looking into them! There are a few stone foundations around but you have to look hard for them because they are deteriorating. Have fun and be careful!

COMENTS: This is a very good mining museum. Most displays are from the late 1800's.There are two buildings to visit. Eureka is a turn of the century mining town. It is a pleasure to visit by itself .Eureka is an old mining town that is fun to visit on its own. The two museums are a bonus!
