Willow Valley was settled in 1863, by mormon pioneers from the Salt Lake Valley. In 1879, lead was discovered and the the Willow Mine was opened. In 1885, the settlement was abandoned because of dry conditions and no water. All that remains are three homes, the mine, and a post office. Submitted by: Ralph Nixon |
