Currently working on getting pictures to submit. Town first settled in 1783. 13 homes, 1 school, 1 church, 3 mills. Town was dismantled in the late 1960's due to major damage from the 1927 and 1936 floods in Vermont. The town lies in a basin on High elevation between to large brooks. Cotton brook and Stevenson Brook which flow into the Waterbury Res. Much damage was done to the town durring the floods, and the State of Vermont took the town for eminent domain to build the Waterbury Res. project. Only one home remains intact, Almeron Goodall Place on the Dalley Loop Trail. No one lives their but the house still remains. Submitted by: Timothy Hamlin
