COMMENTS: This is more like a site than a town. Tono was once a mining town. It is approximately 20 miles south of olympia, washington (5 miles south of tenino, 2 miles east of bucoda.

UPDATE: Hello. I live in Olympia and took a trip to Tono Washington today. The only evidence of the town that i found was a sign in Bacoda that said Tono. We trespassed on the grounds to only find a dial of some sort (made by The Portland Machinery Co.) and tons of trees and foliage.

I hope this helps but i wish i could have found something out their such as a foundation.
