| Arbuckle Creek was home to a small coal loading and coking plant. Mines that fed the plant were located on the nearby hillside. There was a narrow guage railroad that transported the coal from the mines to a headhouse where the ore was then transfered via a tipple. This area was in operation circa 1901. |
