Population. now less than 25,old coal mining town. some bldingsl.cemetary near by church. and company store last time i was there several years ago.take RT 61 west from Montgomery WV -go about 3 miles or so. REMAINS: Company store couple houses, coal tipple perhaps. |
| Old coal mining town,going way back, mines still where being worked there in 1990s. it was i grew upnear there in 50s and 60s it still had a store then but not a working mine like in older days. Submitted by: Mike Settle |
