Stockton's post office was established March 7, 1888 and discontinued July 11, 1892. Stockton Hill was the site for the mines that were responsible for the towns of Stockton, Mineral Park, and Cerbat. Discovered in the 1860's, the silver mines made Stockton the liveliest mining camp in Mohave county. As the mines played out, so did the town. There is still some mining nearby today. |
