COMMENTS:
Take Stony pass out of Howardsville and half way up take the 3B or left fork in the road and continue to the top of the mountain. REMAINS: The Tram House |
The Buffalo Boy was worked during, after and with the Old Hundred Mine and ore was taken down the mountain by tram to the Niegoldstown area mill. Today the tramhouse still exists along with the cables still hanging. There is evidence of recent working as power lines were run to the tram house. Submitted by: Ghosttowns.com |
