Redstone is a city that was built by J.G. Osgood. He built a 42 room manor, a 40 room inn, and a model village for his workers. Everything was lavishly finished, and even the stables were oak. Osgood is reported to have been one of the last independents to stand up to the likes of the Rockefellers, Morgans, and Goulds in his businesses. Today, his mansion still remains and there are plans to turn the area into ski runs and a tourist hub.
