Semi-Ghost - Ona was originally located at "Cowart's Corner" at the intersection of today's SR 64-A and CR661. In the 1880's Reason Cowart homesteaded this parcel of land and built a sawmill and country store there. A post office was established on October 11, 1897 and was located within the country store.
