REMAINS: Spring Hill United Methodist Cemetery, General Store, Traxler Homestead
From 1891 to 1906 W.H. Traxler literally owned the town of Traxler. There was a 3000 acre farm that he and his sharecroppers worked, a cotton gin, a store, church, and a post office. With the decline of cotton the gin became abandoned and the railroad bypassed the town. Now the town is completly gone except for the few remains. Submitted by: Mike Woodfin
