Paved all the way. From hilo take rt. 11 to keaau. Turn on rt. 130, proceed 11 mi. To pahoa. Turn on rt.132. About 6 miles down the road, on the left, is a forest of ironwood trees growing in red cinders in front of a small (100')red rock volcano. This is where the town was. About 1 mi. To ocean. REMAINS: Nothing |
