I was unable to make it out here but the local folks at the Varna(a live but picturesque old RR town) PO told me there was nothing left of this old RR town. REMAINS: Not sure...Local say nothing..Severe thunderstorm kept us out |
| This town is on old RR grade and had a post office from 1873-1905. While you are out there look for Custer (where two old RR'd crossed), Porterfield (station) and Garfield. All of these towns might be "ghost towns". Submitted by: Bill Wallace |
