COMMENTS:
Take IN-9 south from Huntington, turn west on Monument City Rd. Follow road until it dead ends. Park in small unpaived parking lot and walk past the gate. REMAINS: A few trails that used to be roads in the town, most of the town is underwater and only visable when the reservoir is low. |
| The town of Monument City, IN was flooded in 1965 order to create the Salamonie Reservoir. When the reservior is low enough you can still see some ruins. Submitted by: Matt Jericho |
