COPPER CLIFF

NAME: Copper Cliff COUNTY: Missoula ROADS: 4WD GRID: 1 CLIMATE: Cold and snowy during the winter, moderate during the summer. BEST TIME TO VISIT: Summer or fall. Inaccessable during the winter.

COMMENTS: No residents, just a few ruins. There are brilliant blue cliffs nearby caused by the copper leaching through the rock. REMAINS: A few partial buildings.

There is very little information on the history of Copper Cliff. It was an old copper mining town, but the reason in was deserted is not known. Submitted by: Hailey Granger
