Ghosttowns are not as prelevant in the Southeast of New Mexico as the rest of the state. But, there are a few noteworthy places. One such place is Frazier. The post office ran from about 1937-1954 and the economy centered around ranching. No one is really sure where the name of Frazier came from.

The only structure left is the old scholhouse. It is an impressive stone structure that has easily withstood the harsh years. Submitted by Paul Lessard.
