The town of Crystal Springs was founded just a few miles south of Hiko. Originally the townsite had been a fresh water source for a nearby Indian Village. Crystal Springs became a stage stop and the first Lincoln County seat. This honor, however, lasted for less than a year and the county seat was moved to Hiko. Submitted by: Henry Chenoweth |
