COMMENTS: Near Battle Mountain. REMAINS: A few buildings. |
This was a twelve-car siding on the Nevada Central Railroad. The stop was located on the present-day Marvel Ranch where a small water stop and station were built. The stop was active as a shipping point during the boom at nearby Lewis but was abandoned when the railroad folded in 1938. Today, a small building remains at the ranch, a relic from Galena’s railroad days.
