CLIMATE: Hot summer, cool winter.
BEST TIME TO VISIT: Anytime.

COMMENTS: Interesting Scenery.
REMAINS: Foundations and a corral.

Round Springs was settled in the 1870s to serve travelers on the Ely-Hamilton stage. In addition to being a stage stop, Round Springs was also known as one of best sheep ranches in the territory despite the feelings that usually existed between cattlemen and sheepherders. The Round Springs Ranch was used for years but was eventually abandoned, although the range is still used by local cattlemen. Today only foundations, a small shed, and an old corral mark the site.
