The camp existed only a few months before the ore ran out. It was established in 1904 and was home to twenty-five people for the short period of time. A number of buildings and a mill were built at the site anticipating something that never happened. The camp was abandoned in early 1905 and no other activity ever took place there. As recently as the 1920s a number of buildings and the mill still stood at the site, which is now part of the Nellis Air Force Base Bombing and Gunnery Range.
