COMMENTS: Not much to see just a abandoned park area that is being cleaned up by state --had a lot of history in area-- just a couple of families still in area of the town REMAINS: Not much -- abandoned park area

At first was a trading post for indian and trappers before was plotted and settles in early 1800, then was a good sized town with 3 grocery stores, school, blacksmith,dr and dentist office,etc. -- Railroad when 3mile south at edge of Black swamp and the town disappeared. Submitted by: Jerry Arnett
