Lambert is one town in oklahoma still involved in the 2000 census. 4 Miles south And 3 1/2 West of Cherokee Not much is left but several people around grew up in the town or nearby. REMAINS: A few houses. No buisnesses remain just a farming comunity |
| The community was named for Ambrose Lambert, landowner, The estimated population, in 2003, was 9. Town sets on .11 Square miles. Was a part of the Lambert-Yewed School until shut down and students went to Cherokee where the old class photos are found.
