| Founded by Trexler and Turrell Lumber Co. in 1890.The lumber co. was contracted to cut about 5,000 acres of virgin lumber by Col. R. Bruce Ricketts.The center of the ghost town is 4.4 miles north of the entrance of the state park.There the remains of a street lined with homes, a church and alodge hall can be found.
